2026 Toronto Argonauts Schedule: Dates, Times, TV Channels
The Toronto Argonauts schedule was the strangest in the league this year. Because BMO Field hosted 2026 FIFA World Cup matches, Toronto gave up three home dates and played just six home games all season, with twelve on the road.
It started with seven consecutive road games. The Argonauts did not play in front of their own crowd until August 6, in Week 10, almost two months into the season.
They survived it. Toronto has second place in the East locked up, which means hosting the East Semi-Final at BMO Field on Saturday, October 31. Mike Miller is in his first season as head coach, with Michael Clemons in his seventh as general manager.

Why the Argonauts Played Only Six Home Games
BMO Field was a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue, which took it out of the Argonauts’ hands for the first part of the summer. The stadium went through a renovation worth around 150 million dollars for the tournament, with new videoboards, an upgraded playing surface, a rooftop patio and capacity temporarily raised to 45,000.
The CFL announced in August 2025 that Toronto would give up three home dates as a result. Those games went to Saskatchewan on June 26, Winnipeg on July 10 and Hamilton on July 18, and for record keeping purposes all three count as Argonauts road games. Saskatchewan, Winnipeg and Hamilton each ended up with ten home games instead of nine.
So Toronto’s six home games were all squeezed into the second half of the season, from August 6 onward. The first seven games of the year were played in Montreal, Ottawa, Regina, Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton and Vancouver.
What Channel Is the Toronto Argonauts Game On?
TSN carries every Argonauts game in Canada. Three were also simulcast on CTV, and RDS handles the French broadcasts of the Montreal games.
In the United States, CBS Sports Network carried seven Argonauts games in 2026. Everything else streams free on CFL+ outside Canada.

The interesting part is the opponent. Hamilton and Ottawa are both out of contention, so the East’s third playoff place goes to the fourth place finisher in the West under the crossover rule. That turned out to be the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, who edged Calgary on a tiebreaker and come to BMO Field for the East Semi-Final on October 31. The teams split their two meetings this season.

Inside the Argonauts 2026 Season
Toronto came into 2026 off a 5-13 season and with a new head coach, and the schedule handed it the hardest possible start. The Argonauts went 3-4 through those seven opening road games, which in the circumstances kept them alive.
The season turned once they finally got home. Toronto beat Calgary 33-30 in its first game at BMO Field on August 6, then put together the run that decided its year, including a 37-22 win at Hamilton on Labour Day and a 30-28 win in Winnipeg on September 25.
Then came four straight wins, from September 7 to September 25, and three of those four were by five points or fewer: 26-23 over Ottawa, 24-19 over Edmonton and 30-28 in Winnipeg. That is a thin margin to build a season on, but enough to earn a home playoff game.
